Every year I try to do a Christmas card that is a bit wacky and fun, since that’s what I consider us to be. It started with the first year we lived here with the chickens. I tried desperately to get tiny Santa hats on the chickens for their photo shoot, but as you can imagine, that did not go well. I managed to get one on and they just thought chasing that chicken around to pull the hat off was the best game ever. So I resorted to some very unskilled Photoshop and came up with the card below. It was a hit.
The next year, I ran out of creative ability and just slapped a picture of our farm on some card stock. It did look like it belonged on a Christmas card.
But this year… I thought it’d be a great idea to get the sheep, the dog and us in the photo. I was hoping for chickens too but with the first snow on the ground they were not willing to make an appearance. So here is the card and below it I’m going to post some of the “out-takes”. As you can imagine, trying to get 2 sheep, a dog, a camera on a timer and two humans to pose for a picture was extremely tricky.
Now for the “out-takes”!!!
To all our followers and fellow bloggers out there have yourself a wonderful Holiday Season!!!!!
